Snow Tubing in Big Bear: 3 Places to Tube It Up This Winter!

Snow Tubing is a family-friendly way to hit the slopes in Big Bear Lake. The whole family will enjoy hours of fun, and unlike skiing or snowboarding, no skills are required. Just grab your tube, head to the top with the convenience of a conveyor belt, and soar down the hill!  


Where to Go For Snow Tubing Fun in Big Bear Lake? 

Alpine Slide at Magic Mountain  

Enjoy hours of tubing fun on their freshly packed snow slopes. Kids of all ages will love whizzing down the hill, and grabbing a ride on the Magic Carpet conveyor lift back up the hill!  

Rates: 

General Admission: $40 

Small Child Ticket: $25 (36″- 42″ with paying adult 18 years of older) 

*Children 36″ – 42″ must ride on the same inner tube with an adult 18 years of age or older, and must have a Small Child ticket. One-on-one adult supervision per child (36″ – 42″ tall) is required at all times. 

*Children under 36″ tall and pregnant women are not permitted past the Snow Play gate. 

Hours: 

Open daily starting November 5th, 2022: 10am – 4pm 

Nights: Fri – Sat: 5pm – 9pm 

Big Bear Snow Play 

Kids and adults alike will enjoy a visit to Big Bear Snow Play. Natural and man-made snow are combined to offer hours of fun. Zip down the hill and save your energy for more tubular fun by taking the conveyor back to the top of the hill. Now families can make memories at night, too with night-time glow tubing!  

Tubing Info:  

Open daily starting November 5th, 2022: 10am – 4pm  

Winter season is typically from mid-November to Easter.   

Reservations are not accepted. Tickets can be purchased on-site.

Grizzly Ridge Tube Park 

Located at Snow Summit, this tube park boasts 3 300-foot tubing lanes, and a conveyor belt so you can save your energy for flying down the hill as fast as you can! Enjoy a snow-tastic day at the park! 

Tubing Info: 

December 9, 2022 – March 2023 

Monday – Friday, 10am – 4pm 

Saturday – Sunday, 10am – 5pm 

Restrictions: 

Riders must be at least 42” tall and a minimum of 40lbs. Any guest that does not meet these requirements may not participate. One person per tube.
